The Historical Archives in Zenta and the Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park embarked on a joint cross-border project named Living archives – Remembering our past for our future. The project due to end in November 2022 is in fact the continuation of the Living archives – Relics of Common Cultural Heritage” project implemented between 2018 and 2020. As for the first time, the main goal this time is to explore and collect the treasures of the cultural inheritance that has deep roots on both sides of the border and thus connect us.

The “Living archives – Relics of Common Cultural Heritage” project led by the Historical Archives in Zenta and the Ópusztaszer National Heritage Park was implemented within the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia framework between March 2018 and February 2020 and was finalized with the closing conference on 21 February. The results achieved through the project were all presented at the event.

As a result of the archival research in Szeged, the second source book has been published under the title Commercial register II – The companies from Szeged, Hódmezővásárhely and Horgos registered at the Royal Court in Szeged between 1876 and 1920. The author of this compilation is Krisztina Rotár.

The joint project of the National Historic Heritage Park in Ópusztaszer and the Historical Archives in Senta (Living Archives – The Relics of Common Cultural Heritage) that is being realized within the Interreg-IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia program, had its opening ceremony on 29 March 2018 in the National Historic Heritage Park in Ópusztaszer.
