A roofed exhibition place is completed in Ópusztaszer. During the preparation of the plans of the exhibition buildings, the architect was inspired by peasant and manorial buildings, mainly the agricultural buildings from the spheres of husbandry, crop and machinery storage.

As the result of the research in Szabadka (Subotica) and Zenta (Senta) the first source publication Company Register I (Cégjegyzék I) has been published , containing the data of the companies  from Martonos (Martonoš), Magyarkanizsa (Kanjiža), Zenta (Senta), Ada and Mohol (Mol) registered at the Hungarian Royal Court in Subotica from 1876 to 1920. The editor of the compilation is Tibor Molnár.

The medieval city of Szer and the monastical complex is notably rich in archaeological finds. This made it necessary to implement archaeological investigations and excavations before the beginning of the building process, as otherwise the archaeological data would have been lost forever.
